5. Toy Weapons

Kids love toys but if those toys are replicas of weapons, airport authorities might ask you to get rid of that toy. Make sure you don’t pack such toys in your or your kid’s bag. They aren’t allowed in check-in luggage as well as hand-baggage.

6. Knives

Knives, just like mechanical tools can be used as an arm to hurt people. Whether it’s a small knife or a big one, you can’t carry one in either of your luggage. Though, there’s an exception that allows you to carry a butter knife which has round edges and not sharp ones.

7. Razor Blades

You can’t carry razor blades because they are sharp. Sometimes they do allow you to carry it in hand-baggage but yeah, you might be stopped and asked to show what’s inside your bag. So be prepared.

8. Sporting Goods

No sporting goods are allowed on planes. According to Air India, these include - Baseball Bats, Bows and Arrows, Cricket Bats, Golf Clubs, Hockey Sticks, Lacrosse Sticks, Pool Cues, Ski Poles, Spearguns.
