The iconic actor has developed his reputation of a celebrity philanthropist when filming ‘The Devil’s Advocate.’ Keanu agreed to take a huge pay cut so that the movie’s producers could get Al Pacino on board to the project. He repeated the trick when making ‘The Replacements.’ This time, Keanu didn’t mind giving away 90% of earning to have Gene Hackman in the movie. But real generosity came out when the actor donated $75 million he was paid for starring in ‘The Matrix’ sequels to the special effects and costume design team. He decided that they deserved more than they got paid by the producers!
