In the year 2001, the gorgeous lady Sonali Bendre was arrested for hurting the religious sentiments of people. She had dressed up in a yellow kurta with sacred words ‘Om’ and ‘Om Namah Shivay’ printed on it and this became a cause of arrest for Sonali. Along with her, the designer of the dress too was arrested and both of them were then granted bail with a fine of Rs 12000.
