She was working in Delhi as a main assistant to a fashion designer and then came to Mumbai to try her luck in acting.

Urfi made her acting debut in the Hindi television serial “Tedi Medi Family” along with Ami Trivedi, directed by Neelesh Ambekar. She rose to fame for the role she played in the television series “Yeh Hai Ashiqui”. She appeared in the comedy-drama “Bade Bhaiya ki Dhulhnia” as Avni Pant.
