Australian women began in the army by providing medical care in the year 1899. Recently, the country has finally lifted all bans on females being able to fight on the front lines as combat fighters.
Nevertheless, the Australian army is known to be highly integrated into the world and its all three defence services are its army, navy or airforce boasts proudly about their female soldiers.
20.Serbia
For many years, the majority of Serbia’s military has been open exclusively open to men. However, these policies did very little to stop women from fighting alongside men in the Balkan wars and the first World War. In fact, in the guise of a man, Milunka Savic became the most decorated female combatant in history.
Since WWII, female soldiers have enjoyed increasing acceptance among their male counterparts. Today, women are a welcome addition to combat platoons and medical units alike
