He studied in Hasnabad and then shifted to Ananta Padmanabha college in Vikarabad. Prabhakar is a big fan of SS Rajamouli. His wife Rajya Lakshmi is a homemaker and sons Sriram Rajamouli, Ritvik Preetam who was named after the name of famous director Rajamouli who offered the role of Kalakeya in Baahubali.
Prabhakar had been through tough time in his life. He suffered unemployment. Someone had promised to get him a job in the railway. But even after waiting for 6 years, when he did not get that job, he came to Hyderabad looking for another job. And, when he got to know that director SS Rajamoula needed some people for the film ‘Magadheera’. At that time he got selected for the film.
