Not many know that director of films like Life in a metro and Barfi once battled cancer and that too when her survival rate was 50%! The doctors gave him 2 months to live but instead of succumbing to doctor's harsh predictions, all he did was to write the script of his films that include ‘Life in a Metro’ and ‘Gangster’. His courage deserves applause. Isn't it?
