Hasan, on the other hand, refused to do it. Birbal intervened, suggesting the rich man to put the red hot iron on his bare hands as well. This would help him prove his innocence. The rich man refused to do it, and decided against it. Thus, the court knew Hasan had not stolen the necklace.
There will always be assignments or duties that you won't enjoy doing, but to transfer them to someone else isn't fair either. Don't force other people to do things you wouldn't do yourself.
