19. Ilse Koch
Perhaps one of the most infamous Nazi women of all time, Ilse Koch had methods that were nothing short of terrifying. She is known as The Witch of Buchenwald, or more commonly The B**ch of Buchenwald. She had some habits that went beyond even some of the most sinister criminals on this list, at least in terms of strangeness.

Famous People
Not only was she known to be incredibly abusive toward prisoners, she experimented on them. Koch had a reputation for doing some pretty nasty things with the bodies of the dead. It was believed that she made use of the dead’s skin, going as far as to make lampshades out of it. While these claims were never proven true, she still has gone down in history as one of the most brutal Nazis yet. Koch was sentenced to life in prison after the war.
20. Ma Barker
Formally known as Kate Barker, Ma Barker supported her sons as any mother would. But her sons were not exactly involved in typical endeavors like football or soccer. They were rugged criminals who went on to make up the Barker-Karpis gang. Ma Barker oversaw much of the gang’s dirtiest business.

In fact, many might say that Ma Barker was downright ruthless. At first, the crimes she helped her sons organize were just small robberies. Before long, however, she was seamlessly organizing numerous kidnappings and murders. She met her demise during a vicious shootout with a rival gang in 1935.
