The Swiss are famous for always having a neutral point of view in all the international conflicts whatsoever but that does not stop them from having a military force. The men as a part of the Law are required to participate in the armed forces and the women voluntarily get themselves enrolled.
6. Netherlands
The Women’s Corps was created in 1944for the very first time and the females in the Netherlands were amongst first to join the armed forces. Many women actively participated in the World War IIand became the first ever to fight in their country’s prestigious military. The Netherlands started to fully incorporate women into the armed forces in the year 1979 with an exception being made to the Submarine and marine services. However, considering the progressive minds of the Europeans it is expected that the bans will be lifted very soon.
