With ‘Firangi’, Kapil Sharma will be making his debut as a producer. The film stars Ishita Dutta of ‘Drishyam’ fame and Monica Gill playing the female leads. It will even mark the directorial debut of Rajiv Dhingra in Bollywood who has Punjabi blockbusters like ‘Love Punjab’ and ‘Angrej’ ,for which he received lots of appreciation from audience.
Reportedly, in the film, Kapil Sharma plays the character of a local boy who falls for an NRI girl. While Monica Gill plays his love interest, Ishita Dutta also plays a key role in the movie. It is a love triangle with the special elements of action and comedy.
Recently, Kapil Sharma was in the news after he fainted on the sets of his show and was immediately rushed to the hospital. After being discharged from the hospital, he took to his Twitter to interact with his fans where he thanked all of them for their good wishes and assured them that he is better now. He said, “I am feeling better now. Sometimes stress at work affects one’s health, but thanks to love of all of you ,I am absolutely fine now.” [sic]
