Sharma started her career by acting in TV advertisements. She was the face for Pears Soap for five years. She did ads for other brands like HSBC, Nippo Gold Batteries with Rahul Dravid, Mcdonald’s, Park Avenue, Colgate
In 2014, as a DJ, Sharma became famous for remixing Baby Doll song from the movie Ragini MMS 2. She has also remixed famous songs like "lovely" from the movie happy new year and the title song of the movie tamanchey. She touched new heights when her song "chittiyaan kalaiyaan" from the movie Roy released. Shilpi sharma is on a role with her three super hit remixes for Film 'DILWALE'. She has remixed "GERUA" , 'Manma emotion jage' , ' Tukur Tukur' . She also did many performances at world famous clubs.
