21. Dougie Dog, Vancouver — $100 Dragon Dog

A food truck selling a posh hot dog for $100 at the Calgary Stampede has sold out after just one day. The Dragon Dog is infused with expensive cognac and topped with Kobe beef, lobster and truffles. Dougie Luv only brought ingredients for 100 Dragon Dogs because of current economic downturn in Calgary.
20. Barclay Prime, Philadelphia — $100 cheesesteak

How much would you pay for a Philly cheesesteak? Stephen Starr, owner of Barclay Prime restaurant, hopes your answer is in the triple digits. The latest draw to this upscale restaurant for serious patrons is the aptly-named $100 Cheesesteak.
While Starr admits that the sandwich is a marketing ploy for the Philly-based restaurant, the most expensive cheesesteak appears to be worth every penny. Of course, it’s a given that the sandwich is made with Kobe beef. The sandwich also includes $17-per-pound Taleggio cheese, Sautéed foie gras, caramelized onions, heirloom shaved tomatoes and $900-per-pound shaved truffles. It’s a bit of a step up from your standard roast beef and provolone sandwich.
