“Being an actor, it’s very important not just to look fit but stay healthy and active inside out… But I believe staying healthy and fit should be a way of life, regardless of what profession you are in,” Yami told to a leading news portal.
The “Kaabil” gorgeous actress, who is associated with swimwear brand Speedo India and joined the CrossFit Aqua Aerobics instructor Pooja Arora, for Speedo AquaFit – Underwater, Vertical, Fitness Training Programme last week in Mumbai, says fitness in any form motivates and inspires her.
“It’s so important to switch up your regular fitness regime from time to time,” she added.

So, what is her fitness mantra? “Functional and controlled weight training. But food goes hand in hand with workout. Essential to maintain that balance,” the actress added.
On the professional front, Yami was last seen in Ram Gopal Varma’s “Sarkar 3”, which also starred megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
